NORAQUA, Consultores de Engenharia, ltd, was founded as a company in 1981 and resulted from bringing together the efforts its founding partners - civil engineering graduates - had been developing separately in basic sanitation research and projects. It also resulted from the increasing need, felt by everyone, to increment added value to research through introducing new competencies.
For this purpose it has been including within its permanent staff and worked in straight cooperation with qualified technicians in the fields of Structures, Electrotechnics, Architecture, Environment, Mechanics, Landscaping, Chemistry and others.
This multidisciplinary work team has made it possible to gain the privilege and honor of being responsible for developing Basic Sanitation projects (Water Supply Systems, Residual Water Drainage Systems, etc.).
The acquired experience and prestige has allowed the company to broaden its field of intervention in areas such as Communication Lines, Land-use Planning, Managing and Supervising Construction projects, Consultancy, Water Quality Evaluation and more.
