JRTorres - Consultores de Engenharia Lda., with a share capital of € 50,000, was incorporated in July 1990, and began its activity in January 1991.

The premises, located in the historical centre of Viana do Castelo in a building from the XVII century, are organized in autonomous spaces destined to the departments of design, supervision, coordination of security, administration / management and archiving. meetings and service.

In 2012, JRTORRES begins the process of internationalization with the creation of a front office in Huíla, Angola, establishing several local partnerships.
Among the company's competences are the services rendered in the scope of: engineering and architecture project, inspection (including analysis and revision of project and advice to the Owner of Work in phase of consulting the contract) and coordination of safety in public works and private individuals.

The company obtained an update of the Quality Management System Certification, in accordance with the NP EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard, regarding the following processes and products: engineering projects, project analysis and review, construction supervision, environmental coordination and coordination.

On 8 March 2007, JRTORRES obtained an increase in the qualification of the General Manager of Quality of Construction Enterprises, by the LNEC Quality Brand Commission under Decree-Law no. 310/90 of 1 October, in the categories Buildings and Monuments (for class 6) and Roads and Communications and Urbanization Works (for class 5), intending to continue the progression in future revisions.
